Atlanta’s 1st and Best Style Academy! Since 2009 Kris Cole Style Academy has offered Fashion Styling and Image Consulting certification courses to those needing to jumpstart their career by 5-10 years. Created out of the need for comprehensive training and the desire of a former GA certified educator to pass the torch to a growing number of hopefuls the Kris Cole Style Academy was born!
Kris Woodard, is the founder of Kris Cole Image Consulting and The Kris Cole
Style Academy. Ms. Woodard is an internationally certified image consultant,
celebrity wardrobe stylist, and personal shopper. Ms.Woodard trained at the
London Image Institute with industry leaders and AICI president. She has also
trained with AICI board members and industry professionals in the areas of
media, etiquette, executive level consulting, fashion styling and color analysis.
Ms. Woodard has extensive experience in fashion, education, speaking, and
training. As a former fashion model, high end boutique manager, and buyer for
several elite fashion retailers Ms. Woodard is able to tap into an array of
designers, fashion chains and experts to keep abreast of latest trends and provide
clients access to the best services and products available. Ms. Woodard’s dual
experience in fashion, education and corporate worlds gives her unique insights
into the skill sets and requirements for success – credibility, confidence,
knowledge and charisma.
In addition, Ms. Woodard has a Bachelor’s degree in Education and Sociology
and has several years experience developing and delivering educational training,
designing curriculum and preparing unique lessons to a wide array of audiences.
As a certified educator Ms. Woodard has the knowledge needed to present
content in a manner that caters to various learning styles. These skills enables
Ms. Woodard to bring professionalism, creativity, hands on fun and passion to
any presentations.
In 2009 Ms.Woodard launched the Kris Cole Style Academy in order to give
aspiring, as well as current fashion and image industry professionals the first
hand honest knowledge that they need for a successful career in the “industry”.
The Kris Cole Style Academy provides insight into the industry from a WORKING
Image Consultant and Fashion Stylist point of view. Ms. Woodard has
intentionally built her portfolio and resume to include the musicians, actors, on-air
personalities, magazines, executives, athletes, production companies, and
corporations. Ms. Woodard believes you must have an authentic connection to
the subject matter that you teach through being successfully immersed in it daily
in order to accurately relay it to others. She continues to immerse herself in the
profession as not only an educator but a working stylist and consultant. Students
who attend workshops at the Kris Cole Style Academy will experience the Kris
Cole Advantage first hand!
Kristian Buchanan

The Kris Cole Style Academy is pleased to have Ms. Kristian Buchanan on our
team to instruct in the area of business and brand strategy. As an award-winning
brand strategist, publicist and image builder, Kristian is a perfect fit . One of the
best kept secrets to emerge in the communications industry, the gifted brand
builder showcases her skills and ability outside the spotlight and with the success
of everything she touches, the rising executive continues to prove that she’s one
to watch both now and in the future. When she’s not teaching our students the
importance of building their brand she’s acting as Vice President of Strategic
Partnerships for the National Urban League, Kristian has over 10 years of
experience in the areas of sponsor relations, event production, public and media
relations as well as program development. Kristian is responsible for the
development of strategic multi-platform marketing extensions creating
additional value for corporate and media partners.
Kristian has coordinated and managed the media credential process, celebrity
interviews, sponsor relations support and all public relations facets of event and
entertainment marketing for a variety of clients. Working with such clients as the
National Football League, Essence, State Farm, Aretha Franklin, Russell
Simmons, Bishop T. D. Jakes, and Showtime Networks. Her efforts garnered
placements in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, People and Essence
magazines.
As a testament of her gifts, the National Association of Black Female Executives
in Music and Entertainment (NABFEME) named Kristian 2002 Rising Young Executive of
the Year. She is gifted with an impressive resume, superb organizational and
communications skills and a knack for negotiating on her client’s behalf. We are
pleased to have her on our team of instructors!
Tevin Tobun

Kris Cole Style Academy is excited to be able to welcome one of London’s youngest and
most successful entrepreneurs to assist in teaching our business acquisitions curriculum.
Tevin’s business savvy and innovative teaching style makes him a wonderful resource
for our marketing and branding topics.
Tevin studied Advanced Chemistry, Biology and Math with early aspirations of becoming
a Medical Doctor. He graduated with a degree in Health and Combined Studies from
Middlesex University in England. Tobman Enterprises was established in 1998 selling
bric and brac purchased from wholesales to independent retailers – all funded by
Tevin’s part time work and university grants.
In February 2001 Tobun created Gate Ventures, and in 2003 branched out into Building
Maintenance & Cleaning. In 2005 another part of the Gate Ventures jigsaw came into
place when Tevin became aware of the daily school meal deliveries. Gate Ventures now
has become the No. 1 Independent school meal transport company in the country.
It is this tenacious spirit that has continued to catapult Tevin and Gate Ventures
from strength to strength. Tevin remains Managing Director of the business while also enjoying
other external ventures including a consultancy service for those seeking advice and
support as they too navigate their way through the challenges of business.
In November 2011, Tevin was appointed the Chair of Inspirational You, a charitable
organisation that empowers students, leaders and entrepreneurs. Tevin is a member
of the United Kingdom’s Institute of Directors and In 2012 Tevin was recognised as
a future Leader in the JP Morgan’s Britain’s Most Influential People of 2012.
